Flame Resistance Experience & Expertise

First cotton mill in northwest Georgia

There’s no comparison when it comes to industry experience. Mount Vernon FR comes from Mount Vernon Mills, a time-honored leader in the manufacturing of textile, chemical and related products for the apparel, industrial, institutional and commercial markets.

The company began in 1845 as a manufacturer of cotton duck cloth, and soon grew to become a leader in the textile industry. Since that time, production has expanded considerably to include denim, piece dyed and flame resistant (FR) fabrics for apparel, uniforms, hospitality products, automotive and more.

More than 130 million yards of Mount Vernon FR fabric has been used to produce FR clothing that is being used to protect workers from arc flash and flash fires while on the job.
